Children's Sunday School
At Sandy Springs United Methodist Church we love children! Scripture tells us that children are a gift from God. They are the future of our church and our country, therefore, we make them a top priority. Each child is special to us and in the eyes of God. We give our children guidance that leads them into a loving, lasting relationship with Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We also work alongside parents in an effort to instill the love of Jesus in each child’s heart. This is achieved through Sunday School, Children’s Church, Vacation Bible School, and many other special activities during the year.
Children age 3 through 5th grade meet on the second floor every Sunday from 9:45 until 10:45. Our curriculum is KidsJAM—Jesus and Me and is a fun, yet powerful means of teaching our children Biblical truths and the love of God. A dynamic video presentation is shown, along with crafts and interaction with loving teachers. First through 5th graders also enjoy lots of exciting activities and music and then are taught through means of an interactive video presentation. Small group follow-up and prayer with teachers rounds out each Sunday’s experience.
