Our Philosophy and Mission
Our preschool is an outreach and educational ministry of the church. It is a privilege to guide the social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and physical development of each child.
We are certified as a School of Excellence by the North Georgia Conference Preschool Association. We are accredited with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
We are a Christian preschool built around the Christian ethic of “loving thy neighbor as thyself.” Families of all denominations and faiths, as well as those who have no religious affiliations are welcome. Each child, parent and teacher is accepted as a person of worth and value.
Play is the language of children and the foundation of quality preschools. Our children learn through play with a balance of developmentally appropriate activities, including self discovery and teacher directed activities.
We have created an environment full of Christian love and commit ourselves to helping your child learn and grow by providing a warm, stimulating and safe learning environment. The staff is a group of highly trained and dedicated professionals. Most hold education degrees and/or have preschool teaching experience. All teachers and assistants participate in yearly Professional Staff Development opportunities and are CPR and First Aid certified.
The preschool staff and members of the church feel very fortunate to share in your child’s early learning experience.
Hours and General Info
Hours: Monday—Friday 9:00am – 12:30pm
Early Bird Drop-Off at 8:30am available for an extra fee
Discovery Days 12:30—2:00pm available for an extra fee
Children bring their lunch each day.
Our calendar primarily follows Fulton County School Calendar September—May
Registration Fees: 100.00
Church members and siblings—$75.00
Tuition:
A Tuition Deposit is due by April 16th, 2010 (or upon enrollment if enrollment occurs after April 16th) and is non-refundable and non-transferable. The Tuition Deposit will be credited in May of 2011 for May's tuition payment. Tuition is due by the 1st of each month September -April. Church members receive a 10% discount off of their monthly tuition.
Parent/Teachers Conferences are held twice yearly in the Fall and in the Spring. School is closed on Conference days.
Summer Camp: We conduct summer camp for 2 weeks during June. The camp is open to all as long as space is available. Children may register for either one or both weeks.
