Senior Adults Ministry
55+ Group
This is an active group of seniors who plan several outings each year. Some outings are local and include local museums, plays, and performances. Participants meet at the church and ride together on the church bus or a first class coach. Frequently they enjoy a meal out together before or after the event. 55+ also plans at least one out-of-town trip each year.
Coming in the fall
Plans for the fall are shaping up:
SEPTEMBER 16th: Visit to the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers and lunch at the Blue Willow in Social Circle.
OCTOBER 28th: Coach trip to North Georgia for the fall leaves, lunch at Pat's Kountry Kitchen and a visit to Mercier Orchards.
NOVEMBER 14th: Supper and Theatre on the Square to enjoy the comedy "Tuna Christmas."

Friendship Group
This is a luncheon program for "super seniors" in our church and community. The majority of our participants live in nearby Senior Residences and the church provides transportation. Each gathering includes a delicious lunch, an entertaining or educational program, and fellowship that ends with smiles of happiness.
Friendship group meets on the 2nd Tuesday in January, April, July, and October. Please contact us if you'd like to participate.
Exercise Class
A trainer offers an exercise class for especially for senior citizens focusing on balance, flexibility, and keeping muscles healthy. The class meets in our Activity Center every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at 1pm. Cost is $6 per session paid directly to the trainer. Call the church office for more information.
