Registration
Once I mail in the Registration, how will I find out if my child is in your school?
A confirmation notice is usually mailed within one week of the January registration date. It will confirm the class for which your child has been registered, provide critical dates for payment of the tuition deposit, and provide some additional forms that will be needed.
What if I didn't get my first choice of class?
Your child will be registered in your second choice and waitlisted for your first choice. If space becomes available in your first choice of class, we will call you and give you the option of moving into your first choice of class or remaining in the second choice of class.
What do I do if I missed the deadline in January to register my child?
Our school will continue to register children until classes are full and we will continue to waitlist students even after the school year begins. Generally, right before school starts, we see some spots become available. This can happen for any number of reasons, people move, get new jobs, make new childcare arrangements, budgets change, etc.
How do I schedule a tour of the school?
Just call the Preschool office at (404) 250-9455 and we will be happy to arrange a tour for you! Often, in November and December, prior to our January registration, we will have certain days that we schedule tours to maximize the number of people touring and minimize dispruption in the school. We will publish those days on our Registration page when we schedule them. After January, we arrange tours by appointment.
Inclement Weather
What happens in the event of inclement weather?
If Fulton County schools close, we will close! Tune in to 11Alive News for word about our school and/or call the school. We register our delays with 11Alive. Whenever possible, we also change the message on the phone at the school so you can call before you leave to come to the school and see if we are open.
What if Fulton County schools delay their opening?
In the event inclement weather results in Fulton County schools opening 1 hour later, we will open as usual at our regular time.
In the event inclement weather results in Fulton County schools opening 2 hours later, we will open at 10AM.
What if Fulton County schools close early?
In the event Fulton County schools close early for weather, all afternoon activities (e.g. Discovery Days programs) will be cancelled and school will close for all students at 12:30PM.
