SSUMC Foot Prints After School Program
Currently we are offering a small after school program for children in Kindergarten thru Third Grade who attend Spalding Drive Charter School.
Our After School Program provides transportation after school from Spalding Drive Charter School to the Hitson Memorial Activities Center across the street from the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church.
The program is designed to provide a time for snacks upon arrival. Parents are expected to pack a snack for their children, we will supplement with one or two healthy items.
After snack, children are expected to do their homework guided by our staff. Children will study for their weekly spelling tests and read during this time if they do not recieve homework that day.
After homework, children participate in many enjoyable activities including, but not limited to, educational projects, fun games in our huge gymnasium, sports, exploring outdoors , and small excursions to local parks and similar venues.
