Rev. Kelly Barge

Kelly arrived at SSUMC as Senior Minister in June, 2004. He is grateful for Christ’s presence throughout our church life. He previously served as Senior Minister at Fairburn UMC, and as an Associate Minister at Peachtree Road UMC. Kelly was born in Atlanta, graduated from Westminster High School in 1966, Harvard College in 1970 and Boston University School of Theology in 1973. Following several years in fulltime ministry in the 1970’s, Kelly developed a commercial construction company in Atlanta before returning to full time ministry in 1995. Kelly is married to Anne, and they have three sons and a daughter—Chris, Katie, Ben and Sam.

Rev. Chris Barbieri

Chris began his ministry at Sandy Springs in 2005. A long-time Systems Analyst in the IT field, Chris felt the call to full-time ministry and left his career for seminary in 2002. Chris works as a catalyst in many of our ministry areas. He has a passion for discipleship and enjoys helping people see the relevance and importance of Scripture in their everyday lives.

Brad Bunn

Brad has been working in Youth Ministry for more than ten years and joined our ministry team in 2006. Ministering to youth has always been a thrill for Brad as he enjoys experiencing their passion for justice, integrity, and honesty. Brad shares these passions and works with our youth to help them see Christ in everyday life. Brad is also a talented and creative artist and incorporates this creative side into his ministry. Brad and his wife, Erika, have three children.

Sandra Dixon

Sandra is a native Atlantan and brings a deep love of children to her ministry. After a professional career and several years as a full-time mommy, she spent nine years as a preschool teacher. Three of those years were spent teaching in our Preschool. Then “Miss Sandra” became our Children’s minister in 2005. She is loved by our children as she shares the love of Christ with them through our Children’s ministry. Sandra and her husband, Dale, have three children.

Nancy Nadolski

Nancy arrived as Preschool Director in 2003. Her talent, enthusiasm, and cooperative spirit have enhanced our Preschool as a caring, church outreach program. Nancy’s love of children and her commitment to enhance their spiritual growth are excellent. Nancy feels a close connection to our community as she has lived in Sandy Springs for 29 years. Nancy and her husband, Bob, have four children and one granddaughter.
