+ What is worship like?
Worship begins at 11:00 am every Sunday in the sanctuary located on the North Campus (the building with the water fountains in front). It is a traditional worship service with hymns, a choir, piano and organ. You are invited to sit wherever you like. Generally, on the first Sunday of the month, we offer the sacrament of Holy Communion. As a United Methodist Church we have an open table, meaning that ALL people are welcome to participate in Communion.
Attire is normally business casual/casual. You are welcome to come as you are, and any given Sunday you will find folks in suits and dresses from jeans and top. Come in whatever makes you comfortable!
+ Do you have a nursery?
Nursery care is provided during the Sunday School and Worship hours on Sunday morning for all children 3 and under. We practice Safe Sanctuary policies for all our children and youth The nursery is located on the first floor down the hall past the church office. Please see a greeter or an usher if you have trouble finding it and they will be happy to assist you.
+ When is Sunday School?
Sunday School begins at 9:45 and lasts until 10:45. It is also held on the North Campus. We have classes for all ages. The children’s Sunday School meets on the 2nd floor and the youth meet on the 3rd floor. The various adult Sunday School classes meet throughout the building. More information about Sundy School and other Discipleship opportunities can be under Ministries: Discipleship!
+ Where are the restrooms?
Restrooms are located on every floor with the main restrooms being on the first floor across from the church office.
+ What are the North and South campuses?
If you are looking for any number of our weekly recreational activities (i.e. basketball, soccer, camps, dance), those are held on the South Campus behind the water tower. The pre-school and the afterschool program are also found on the South Campus. The North Campus is where the church office is located, where worship and Sunday School take place as well as where our youth group meets.
A quick way to remember the difference is that the South campus is behind the water tower and the North Campus is behind the fountain. Parking for the North Campus is located primarily behind the building with extra spaces along Mt. Vernon Hwy. Parking for the South Campus is in one of the two lots surrounding the building
