The missions & outreach team at Sandy Springs UMC offers members and guests of all ages and abilities the opportunity to get involved in reaching out to the community. We work with many community groups and organizations to reach out and share the love of God in tangible ways.
Backpack Buddies
Our Backpack Buddies program helps feed food-insecure families over the weekend by sending kids home from school with extra food on Fridays. You can help by coming to pack food on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. or helping deliver the food to a local elementary school on Thursdays.
