The missions & outreach team at Sandy Springs UMC offers members and guests of all ages and abilities the opportunity to get involved in reaching out to the community. We work with many community groups and organizations to reach out and share the love of God in tangible ways.

Backpack Buddies

Some extra food can change a kid's week! Join us in Lake Forest Elementary basement again weekly starting Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 5:30 p.m. to pack food bags for students facing food insecurity. All are welcome.

Volunteer with CAC

Help local families this summer by spending two hours volunteering with CAC's Meals for Kids program at the North and South Sandy Springs Mini-Markets. Shifts run 9:30–11:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., and volunteers must be 16 or older. Learn more and sign up below.
