The missions & outreach team at Sandy Springs UMC offers members and guests of all ages and abilities the opportunity to get involved in reaching out to the community.  We work with many community groups and organizations to reach out and share the love of God in tangible ways.

Donations Needed

Help us bring joy to families served by Solidarity Sandy Springs. Now through Sunday, May 4, we’re collecting donations to create Birthday Cake Bins!

Needed Items:

• Cake Mix: Lemon or Yellow

• Frosting: Vanilla or Buttermilk

Paired with a can of Sprite, these make delicious cakes. Drop off your donations at the church and help us bring joy to local families!

Backpack Buddies

Our Backpack Buddies program helps feed food-insecure families over the weekend by sending kids home from school with extra food on Fridays. You can help by staying after church on Sundays and helping pack food or helping deliver the food to a local elementary school on Thursdays.
